I cut through the noise of disconnected solutions and one-off upgrades, and build connected solutions for what your finance team actually needs to run at full capacity — in most cases utilizing your already established systems and technologies.
Most organizations have accumulated layers of tools, workarounds, and outside consultants that don't connect to one another. The result is a team spending more time managing complexity than moving the business forward.
Most accountants don't understand technology. Most technologists don't understand accounting. Having spent two decades building both skill sets — in Big 4 audit, advisory, industry leadership, and hands-on implementation — I work at an intersection that is genuinely rare.
Transform raw data into clear, actionable insights. Interactive dashboards and analytics give executive teams real-time visibility into performance, cash flow, projections, and risk.
Mona Dickerson's career has been shaped by two parallel tracks that most people keep entirely separate: technical accounting and technology. Starting at a Big 4 firm, she spent nearly eight years in public accounting, leading large audit teams on public company engagements, working directly on IPOs and S-1 filings, and taking on advisory assignments where the focus was redesigning internal controls for efficiency, automation, and precision. That work made clear that good accounting isn't only about getting the numbers right — it's about building systems that reliably produce the right numbers.
At a top 20 public accounting firm, Mona served in a quality control capacity as concurring partner reviewer, advising audit partners on technical accounting and auditing matters across a range of industries. She developed particular depth in biotech and financial services, including private equity, hedge funds, and leveraged fund structures, where the complexity of valuations and the stakes of getting them wrong are both significant.
Outside of public accounting, Mona held controller and senior finance leadership roles across software, financial services, and construction. Those positions showed her what it means to be on the receiving end of an audit, manage a close under real pressure, and lead a team through a finance technology implementation that has to work from day one. She has led multiple ERP and reporting system rollouts and spent years building analytical tools that turn raw financial data into clear narratives for stakeholders at every level.
What Mona brings to clients is the combination of those two paths: accounting rigor grounded in standards, and technology fluency grounded in practice. That is how she helps companies move past surface-level fixes and build a finance function that works the way it should.
